ABOUT ST.PETERS CORK
There is more than meets the eye to this historic building. It’s home is on one of Cork’s oldest street and dating back to 1270, St. Peter’s Cork is an integral part of Cork’s history. This deconsecrated church has been beautifully restored and designed with a contemporary yet tasteful style. St. Peter’s is both a public exhibition space and a private venue.
What was previously known as the Cork Vision Centre closed in late 2015. In 2016 we proudly reopened the doors as St. Peter’s Cork and are delighted to hold the title of The Cork 1916 Centre Of Commemoration as part of Ireland’s 1916 Centenary Programme. St. Peter’s Cork is open free to the public throughout 2016 with a number of 1916 exhibitions on display as well as a host of free events.
