Season’s Greetings 2018!

Date: Now

Place: St. Peter's Cork

Festive Season Wishes from St Peter’s Cork

It’s the most wonderful time of the year…and what a year it’s been here in St Peter’s. A huge thank you to all our visitors, collaborators and private hire clients for helping to create such a vibrant and buzzing public space in the heart of the city centre!

2018 has been an incredible year for us. We have worked with over 25 Festivals including 4 new (and new to us) Cork Festivals: Cork Sound Fair, Quiet Lights, Cork Puppetry Festival and East Cork Early Music Festival. We hosted over 20 exhibitions again this year, highlighting a unique blend of visual art from Cork artists. The variety and quality of creativity and culture in Cork is phenomenal and it has been a pleasure working with so many dynamic groups and individuals over the year. We have also broadened our relationships with special-interest groups across the city and have benefited from a broad, engaging programme of educational and social interest with groups like UCC Microbiology, Native Scientist, Cork Environmental Forum and the Cork PPN.

We are currently hosting an exhibition from 4 Cork artists, the fine art show, ‘CLÁS‘ is a mixture of 3D and framed work that is drawing great crowds to our Mezzanine Gallery. It’s been wonderful to see sculptures back in the space. We are also busy with our Christmas Markets which this year feature a pop-up kitchen from Cork chef start-up Imbue and a gorgeous Santa’s Grotto experience from a new Cork events company, Evenism. For a full list of events in St Peter’s check out our Facebook Page and Website Last market is this Saturday 22nd December!
