The theme of the 2019 Pitch’d Circus Arts Festival edition is Exquisite Corpse; a method by which a collection of words or images is collectively assembled to create a new image, text or form. Festivals are a time for artists to come together, share, create and collaborate and Pitch’d Circus Arts festival will see multiple new forms, connections and ideas come to life.

CIRCUS SUPERSTARS PARADE WORKSHOP
Come join us in the fantastic setting of St. Peter’s Church where we will be focusing on ground based activities, acro, juggling, performance, poi + staff before we proudly parade our circus skills out on the street!

AROUND THE CLOCK
Welcome to the three legged house where life is a balancing act, 6 meters high and upside down. Around the clock takes a glimpse of the topsy turvy life of an aerial circus show. Granny Yana, a life sized puppet, has escaped the retirement home and has lots of stories to tell. But watch out, she has her own mind and you never know what she might get up to! With routines on Trapeze, Corde Lisse and counterbalancing and lots of comedy in between this show is guaranteed to keep all ages entertained from beginning to end.

With stunts only true daredevils dare dare, Pitch’d Festivals very own Artistic Director will astonish crowds with juggling, Rolabola, handstands, balancing, chairs, knives, unwitting audience members, and goodness knows what else he has hidden up his torn off sleeves!
