Step back in time with genealogist and historian David Ryan as he explores North Main Street and it’s laneways at the start of the twentieth century. Starting from St Peter’s Cork, this tour will look at who lived along the street in 1901 and how it has changed in the past century. Drawing on research from the 1901 Census, this promises to be an insightful and interesting tour with stories of residents living on Cork city’s oldest street. Expect to find some great secrets hidden along the street’s historic past. David is an engaging speaker, with huge experience in tracing Cork’s heritage, this will be a great tour for all the family!
