The Photo Legends present “Out and About in Cork”. This is a photography exhibition which will take place in St Peters Cork, North Main Street, from Tuesday April 4 th to Saturday April 15 th as part of Cork’s Life Long Learning Festival 2017.
The Photo Legends are a group of 9 young people supported by Cope Foundation. They, although from different services namely; Bonnington Training Centre and QDS Hub, have united in their interest and passion for photography and desire to learn more about the medium. The group was formed in November 2016 and meet every Thursday to go on field trips around the city or work on ideas for presenting the photos taken on the trips, in Mayfield’s Community Development Project. The Photo Legends collaborate with tutor Jorge Ruiz Villasante- an established photographer and teacher in Cork. All hope to further progress with knowledge and skills learned to go on to study a QQI in photography and team up with other photography groups in the community.
The exhibition will include images of Cork as you have never seen it before! Free Entry.
